We are looking for an experienced Chinese Chef with a minimum of 3 years of expertise in preparing authentic Chinese cuisine. The ideal candidate will have strong culinary skills, attention to detail, and a passion for creating high-quality dishes that delight customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of traditional and modern Chinese dishes, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the team to create and update the Chinese menu, introducing new dishes and seasonal specials.
- Kitchen Management: Oversee kitchen operations, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety standards.
- Ingredient Sourcing: Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of the highest quality, ordering supplies as needed.
- Food Presentation: Ensure that dishes are presented beautifully and consistently, maintaining high standards of food aesthetics.
- Team Collaboration: Supervise kitchen staff and work as part of a team to meet service requirements and maintain smooth operations.
- Maintain Standards: Ensure compliance with food safety, health regulations, and company standards in all kitchen activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chinese Chef or in a similar role in a restaurant or hotel.
- Strong knowledge of Chinese cooking techniques, ingredients, and spices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- Creativity and a passion for food.
Salary: Negotiable based on experience
