Male Warden Cum Teacher (Social Science)

A reputed educational institution, is looking for a dedicated and skilled Male Warden Cum Teacher with a strong background in Social Science. The ideal candidate will take on a dual role, ensuring the safety, discipline, and well-being of students in the hostel, while also imparting high-quality education in Social Science.

Key Responsibilities:

As Warden:

• Supervise and manage the daily activities of hostel students, ensuring their safety, discipline, and welfare.
• Address behavioral issues and promote respect, integrity, and responsibility among students.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student concerns, progress, and well-being.
• Coordinate hostel operations, including meals, health-related matters, and general maintenance.

As Teacher (Social Science):

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, etc.) to students.
• Foster students’ understanding of key concepts and promote critical thinking.
• Maintain classroom discipline and encourage a respectful, interactive, and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to contribute to curriculum development and ensure high-quality academic delivery.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Social Science (History, Geography, Political Science, or related field).
• Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or District Institute of Education and Training (DIET).
• Prior experience in teaching Social Science to students of classes 6 to 10 is preferred.
• Ability to manage both academic and hostel duties with efficiency and professionalism.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to mentor and guide students.
