We are a well-established family restaurant in Imphal, renowned for our authentic flavors and warm hospitality. As we continue to enhance our dining experience, we are looking for an experienced Chef who specializes in Indian cuisine while having a strong understanding of Chinese cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation.
- Specialize in Indian cuisine, with a deep knowledge of traditional spices, cooking techniques, and regional flavors.
- Prepare and oversee the preparation of Chinese cuisine as required.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, sanitation, and food safety in compliance with FSSAI guidelines.
- Ensure efficient kitchen operations, reducing wastage and controlling food costs.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience as a Chef specializing in Indian cuisine in a reputed restaurant or hotel.
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel Management, or specialized training in Indian cuisine from a recognized institute.
- Cuisine Expertise: Mastery in Indian cuisine & Proficiency in Chinese cuisine.
- Skills: Excellent culinary skills, team leadership, menu development, and kitchen management.
- Hygiene & Safety: Strong knowledge of food safety standards and kitchen hygiene practices.
- Preferred Candidate: Candidates from Manipur or willing to relocate to Imphal.
